The body of the Otzi ice man found at the Italian-Austrian border in 1991 which dated 5200 years old is an evidence of ancient tatoos as it had at least 57 tatoos.
Since 2000BC the Egyptians were believed to be tatooing their bodies, the bronze implement found in Egyptian caves, which were identified as tatooing devices are evidences of the existance of tatoos.
In Europe the Greeks and Romans did the first tatoos. Tatoos were also done in Africa in which hunters tatooed their bodies with images of their hunted animals.
